Fret-King Walter Trout Benefit Guitar (Multi Signed)
Fret-King Walter Trout Benefit Guitar (Multi Signed)
- Fret-King Walter Trout Benefit Guitar
- This guitar was originally donated by JHS & Co. Ltd back in 2014 to be signed by the artists performing at the Walter Trout benefit events throughout the UK in 2014. Following the events it was to be raffled off in order to raise funds for Walters medical bills.
- This guitar is truly a unique piece, it is a Fret-King Black Label Danny Bryant signature model guitar selected as Danny was actually standing in for Walter in his 'Walter Trout Band' tour that went around both the USA and Canada when Walter went through his transplant and recuperation.
- Danny Bryant and his then wife Kirby took the guitar to the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on May 4th 2014 in London to be signed by Danny along with the other artists appearing before then going to further concerts at the O2 ABC Glasgow on May 14th 2014 and lastly to the ‘True Blues Club London’ on the 17th May 2014. There were then more surprise signings to the guitar at a JHS event in June 2014.
- Besides Trev Wilkinson, the creator of Fret-King (can be seen in an image holding the signed guitar), the guitar was signed by some of the greatest Blues and Jazz guitarists/artists in the industry including: Jon Trout (Walter’s son), Danny Bryant and Midge Ure (can both be seen with the guitar in the images), Elliot Randall, John Verity, Gordon Giltrap, Graham Oliver, Matt Smith, Bernie Marsden, Roger Chapman, Mud Morganfield, Otis Grand, Alan Glen, Del Broham, Andrew Elt, Mitch Laddie, Laurence Jones, Ian Parker, Marcus Malone, Stephan Dale Petit, Paul Cox, John O’Leary, Matt Bullard, Tim Pen, Karl Randall, Alan Thomson, Jim Keilt, Fraser Speirs, Mike Hellier, Eric Razoni, Charlotte Marshall, John Lindsey, Ronnie Boysen, West Weston, Calum Ingram, Kenny Robertson, Al Fleming, Tim Clarke, Dave Sutton, Thomas Blug, John Etheridge and others.
- This truly is a 1 of a kind piece of art and has a place in the history of the UK Blues genre. This would make a great addition, or centre piece to any collection.
